Meet Bria Hays-Mackey
Founder and CEO of BM Bookkeeping LLC
I’ve been in the finance world since the day I graduated high school. My first “big girl” job was as a bank teller at Hancock Whitney, where I got my first taste of financial systems and customer service. That experience lit a fire in me. I went on to earn my degree in accounting, and at the same time, I launched my own lash business—B New Lashes.
Running that business taught me so much. Even though it was small, I ran it by the book—tracking income, budgeting for supplies, and setting prices strategically. What surprised me was how many of my fellow business owners were struggling with things I had already figured out:
